Know the difference between CEAYA e-bike riding modes

CEAYA electric mountain bike allows you to enjoy any kind of riding experience when you need it. Adapting to your long-distance riding needs, you can choose any mode according to your needs to enjoy long-distance travelling, the combination of three modes will be a better choice.

1. Pure electric mode (throttle mode):
The most energy-saving mode, the motor works at full power without pedalling. Of course, this mode also consumes more electricity. Percentage of electric motor power: 100 per cent

2. Pedal assist mode (PAS):
Energy-saving mode, the motor works at half power, the motor provides you with power assistance when riding, helping you go uphill easily. This mode has a longer range than pure electric mode. And depending on the electric bike power assist sensor, your riding experience is different.
With an ebike that uses torque sensing (e.g. ebike montainbike L03) you'll get a more rapid and aggressive response to the motor's power output when pedalling, giving you a more athletic feel.
An electric city bike R8SE with a stride sensor will have a more moderate motor response in PAS Mode.
Percentage of motor drive: 50%

3. Riding mode:
The best mode for cycling exercise, the motor does not work at all. Percentage of motor drive: 0 per cent

Tip:
If your ebike has mechanical shifting function, such as 26’ Electric step thru ebike AZ26 using Shimano 7 Speed shifters, you can use the motor power function and mechanical shifting system together reasonably when you ride, so that you will get a perfect riding experience!
